This role will be based in either Sunnyvale, San Francisco or NYC depending on which area the candidate approved-for-hire chooses. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This Role: As a Labor Economist, you will use your background in economic research and analytics to advance thought leadership about how local and global trends and shocks to the macroeconomy and labor market influence job seeking behavior and outcomes. You will partner with business leaders and employ strategic thinking to inform decisions about LinkedIn’s thought leadership, product development and user experience. You’ll work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of researchers to identify and conduct research that influences how we create opportunity for LinkedIn’s members and create value for our customers. You will oversee research projects, working with partners across Product, Engineering, Policy, and Marketing teams.
