A well-established specialty manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Reliability Engineer to lead the charge on equipment reliability, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across the board. This role combines both tactical and strategic work, perfect for someone who enjoys getting their hands dirty and thinking big-picture. You'll work directly with leadership to shape maintenance strategies, influence capital projects, and make a serious difference in plant performance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement smart, lasting solutions
  • Drive reliability improvements and asset effectiveness with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Develop and refine preventative & predictive maintenance plans
  • Manage the Bad Actor Program
  • Provide engineering insight for capital projects and equipment upgrades
  • Develop and manage critical equipment lists, spare parts inventories, and inspection programs
  • Coach and support in-house maintenance teams
  • Identify cost/time advantages in repair/replace scenarios

What You Bring:

  • 6–10 years in maintenance or reliability engineering, ideally within small-to-mid-sized manufacturing environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (strongly preferred)
  • Deep familiarity with preventative/predictive maintenance, RCA, and CMMS
  • Natural problem solver, strong communicator, and team collaborator
  • Hands-on, resourceful, and thrives in a setting where departments work like family
