Part-Time to Full-Time Local Video Editor (VSL Specialist) – Colorado

Who We're Looking For : A local Colorado editor who lives and breathes direct response video. You're not here to make just "pretty" videos—you're here to make videos that sell. You understand viewer psychology, know how to hook attention in seconds, and have proven experience creating VSLs, upsell videos, promotional content, and sales funnels that actually convert cold traffic into customers.

You're NOT Right If : You *just* edit "pretty" videos, artistic content, weddings, corporate videos, or anything that prioritizes "cinematic beauty" over results. We don't want generalists—we want a direct response assassin who can work in-person in Colorado.

You ARE Right If : You're obsessed with conversion metrics, understand the science of attention retention, and have a proven track record of sales videos that actually convert (not just look good). You want to become our secret weapon—starting part-time (20-25 hours/week) in our Colorado office, creating everything from 70-minute VSLs to 5-minute upsell videos to social media promotional content that drives action.

What You'll Be Creating : Long-form VSLs that convert cold traffic, upsell videos that maximize customer value, promotional videos for social media campaigns, email marketing videos, testimonial compilations, product demo videos, and sales funnel content across the entire customer journey. Every piece of content has one goal: drive measurable results.

Location Requirements:

• Must be located in Colorado (Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, or surrounding areas)
• Willing to work in-office 3-4 days per week
• Flexible schedule that allows for 20-25 hours/week initially

NON-NEGOTIABLE Requirements:

• Adobe Premiere Pro mastery (our entire workflow is built on this—no exceptions)
• Direct response video portfolio (VSLs, sales videos, upsell content, promotional videos—show us what converted)
• File organization obsession (we're dealing with hundreds of clips across multiple campaigns)
• Proven ability to edit for ADHD-level attention spans (show us videos where you maintained high retention and drove action)
• Competitive drive —your videos get split-tested against controls across different campaign types. If you're not excited about beating benchmarks and improving conversion rates, don't apply
• Direct communication style —you'll work face-to-face with founders who move fast. Be confident in your expertise but coachable when data proves your assumptions wrong
• Team collaboration skills —you'll be working in-person with our team, attending strategy sessions, and participating in real-time feedback loops

BONUS Points:

• AI video integration experience (we're replacing stock footage with custom AI-generated B-roll across all content types)
• Previous in-house experience with direct response, e-commerce, or health/wellness companies
• Multi-format expertise (long-form VSLs, short-form social content, email video, etc.)

Compensation & Growth:

• Starting rate : $35-75/hour (based on experience and portfolio results)
• Performance bonuses : Up to $3,000 for videos that beat current controls
• Profit sharing : % of net revenue for breakthrough performing content
• Full-time potential : $60,000-90,000 salary + large bonuses for the right person
• Professional development : Direct mentoring from successful founders
