Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Commercial Project Manager to oversee and manage HVAC projects for commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and hold a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. This role requires a proactive leader capable of ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for HVAC commercial installations.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to define project scope and objectives.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring accountability and productivity.
  • Budget Management:
  • Prepare cost estimates, monitor expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track project progress to ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  • Ensure all HVAC installations meet quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.
  • Address and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of project timelines, budgets, and milestones.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including status reports and project forecasts.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing HVAC commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar tools).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation processes.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • LEED certification or experience with sustainable building practices.
  • Experience working with design-build or fast-track projects.
