About Majestic Developers

Majestic Developers is a fast-growing, Houston-based real estate development company specializing in residential, commercial, and mixed-use communities. From strategic site selection to turnkey delivery, we bring integrity, innovation, and executional excellence to every project. As we expand into self-performing infrastructure and vertical construction, we’re looking for high-caliber leaders who are passionate about building both projects and teams from the ground up. Join us as we shape the future of Houston’s built environment—one site at a time.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead Superintendent with a background in underground utilities and an eagerness to expand into vertical commercial construction . This role will lead daily field operations on land development projects while also playing a key part in establishing and growing a dedicated field team for future vertical builds. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience, proactive problem-solving, and the leadership needed to guide subcontractors, enforce quality, and meet aggressive schedules without compromising safety or integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Underground Utilities (Primary Focus)

• Supervise daily utility work: water, sewer, storm drainage, gas, electric, and telecom installations.

• Coordinate inspections, subcontractors, equipment, and materials.

• Maintain utility installation schedules and updates using MS Project or equivalent.

• Lead and enforce OSHA-compliant safety practices and conduct weekly toolbox talks.

• Ensure compliance with civil plans, utility profiles, and municipal requirements.

• Document field activity daily through reports, logs, and photographs.

Vertical Construction (Growth Focus)

• Assist with preconstruction planning for commercial building scopes.

• Help assemble and manage future field teams for shell, core, and MEP trades.

• Coordinate site work with vertical structure sequencing.

• Mentor assistant superintendents and field staff as part of a growing vertical operations team.

• Enforce schedule milestones, quality control, and project documentation as vertical work ramps up.

General Duties

• Interface clearly with owners, architects, engineers, municipalities, and inspectors.

• Generate punch lists, validate subcontractor change orders, and manage labor forecasts.

• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings to review safety, scheduling, quality, and logistics.

• Maintain high ethical standards and act as a field ambassador for Majestic Developers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction field experience; 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing utility infrastructure.

• Strong working knowledge of horizontal and vertical construction, including sitework, utilities, structural concrete, MEP, and finishes.

• Commercial construction experience is required. Residential/multifamily-only backgrounds will not be considered.

• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and reading construction documents (civil, architectural, MEP).

• Experience working with city and county inspectors, permitting departments, and utility franchise providers.

• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred or required within 60 days).

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead in high-pressure environments.

• Willingness to work extended hours during critical phases of construction.

The Opportunity

This is more than just a job—this is an opportunity to lead the charge in building a full field operations team for vertical commercial construction. As Majestic Developers grows its self-performing capabilities, this role will help define how projects are built, how teams are structured, and how operational excellence is executed in the field. Long-term leadership opportunities include:

• Building and mentoring a vertical project field team

• Advancing into a General Superintendent or Field Operations Manager role

• Driving innovations in scheduling, documentation, and self-performance practices

What We Offer

• Competitive compensation based on experience

• Paid time off and holidays

• Career advancement in a growing, entrepreneurial firm

• The chance to lead legacy-quality projects from dirt to door

Hiring Requirements

• Drug-free workplace; background check and drug screening required

• Cultural fit evaluated via personality assessment

• Must be based in Greater Houston Area; this is not a traveling position

• Sponsorship is not available for this role
