Biomedical Equipment Technician II (BMET II) – Summary
The BMET II is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of medical equipment across a large healthcare system. This role ensures equipment reliability, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. The BMET II works independently on moderately complex systems, provides guidance to BMET I staff, and collaborates with clinical teams, vendors, and leadership.
