TRAVELING CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT – OPEN-STORE REMODELING

We are partnered with a well-established commercial contractor specializing in fast-track, open-store retail remodeling projects nationwide. Due to a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent who can start quickly and hit the ground running.

This is a travel-heavy role offering an hourly pay structure with overtime , allowing high performers to significantly increase total annual earnings.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Lead and manage fast-track, open-store retail remodeling projects
• Oversee day-to-day field operations while maintaining store operations during construction
• Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and safety requirements
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to client standards
• Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Competitive hourly rate
• Overtime paid on top of base hourly rate
• All travel, flights, and hotels fully paid
• $250 per week per diem

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on open-store retail remodeling projects
• Strong background in fast-track remodeling environments
• Ability to manage active retail spaces with minimal disruption
• Excellent scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with extensive travel

AVAILABILITY

Must be able to start within 1–2 weeks
