Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Social Media Coordinator to assist the team supporting Kyle Matthews and The Matthews Mentality Podcast. This role will play a vital role in podcast guest outreach, social media engagement, content repurposing, analytics tracking, and brand partnership support. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and enthusiastic about storytelling and social media strategy. Most importantly, they must be highly attuned to evolving social media trends and able to adapt quickly, ensuring our content remains fresh, relevant, and impactful across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Outreach: Research and identify potential podcast guests, focusing on industry leaders, entrepreneurs, athletes and CEOs
  • Podcast Prep Sheets & Questions: Assist in creating guest prep sheets, including research on guest backgrounds and formulating targeted questions to drive engaging conversations.
  • Gift Packaging: Package and coordinate swag gifts for podcast guests, ensuring timely delivery and consistent brand representation.
  • Analytics Tracking: Monitor podcast performance metrics, including episode downloads, social media engagement, and content reach.
  • Social Media Strategy: Develop social media content to promote episodes, including writing captions, scheduling posts, and engaging with the audience.
  • Trend Integration: Stay up to date on emerging social media trends, formats, and best practices, applying them to drive growth and engagement on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Content Repurposing: Cut and edit podcast clips into short, shareable videos for Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Graphic Design Support: Create basic graphics for social media posts, episode promotions, and guest spotlights.
  • Brand Partnerships: Assist with identifying, coordinating, and activating brand partnership opportunities that enhance podcast visibility and engagement, including collaborations, sponsored content, and cross-promotional campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Have a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in podcast production, social media, or digital marketing.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating brand partnerships or sponsorships is a plus.
  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail.
