Title: Shipping Supervisor

Location: Staten Island

Experience level: 3-5 years’ experience

Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Compensation: $25/hr-$32/hr

MUST HAVE

• Prior dispatching experience
• Ability to pick, quality check, and load in a large warehouse setting (indoor/outdoor)
• Fluent in Spanish

Summary

Seeking a Shipping and Logistics Supervisor who is accustomed to working in a fast-paced professional environment. The ideal candidate should be motivated, flexible, and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Distribute and ensure all sales orders are being picked, quality checked, and loaded accurately and efficiently
• Serve as a back up Dispatcher as needed, handling customer inquiries and problem solving any issues that might arise during our deliveries
• Administrative tasks including data entry, e-mails and phone calls
• Processing of transfers between sites
• Streamlining communication between various departments and shipping to solve customer related issues
• Monitor and improve shipping workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in the same or similar role, in the same or similar industry preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish)
• ERP system knowledge preferred
• Dispatching experience REQUIRED
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• MS Suite, G Suite knowledge
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent Communication, including writing, speaking, and interpersonal communication
• Self-Driven & detail-oriented with outstanding organization skills
• Ability to multi-task and operate in a high pressure environment
