Job Description

The Senior Recruiter will provide overall direction to the recruiting team through strategy, oversight, training, mentoring, and leading by example in addition to being an individual contributor as a recruiter within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Recruiter:

  • Review open orders daily; work with service team members to determine urgency and priority to meet client needs and deadlines. Conduct daily open order meetings.
  • Conduct comprehensive candidate searches via internal database, online job boards, referrals, networking, etc.
  • Screen and identify qualified applicants ranging from light industrial to professional and clerical positions
  • Conduct in depth face to face interviews with applicants to ensure they meet client and company standards
  • Perform onboarding requirements including hiring paperwork, criminal background checks, drug screens, I-9, W-4, and any client specific information
  • Thoroughly orient new hires on company policies and procedures as well as client expectations
  • Partner with hiring managers and decision makers at client sites to make candidate selections, negotiate pay, perform associate appraisals, and conduct safety site inspections
  • Visit prospect client locations and maintain current client relations to generate new business opportunities
  • Participate in job fairs and networking events in the community
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop branch staff to create strong team members that contribute to the success and growth of the branch.
  • Lead a team of recruiters who will recruit, interview and match candidates with our clients' temporary assignments, temp-to-hire and direct hire opportunities.
  • Responsible for ensuring completion of all required reports and compliance documentation, including timely entry of data into our specialized software system.
  • Perform functions of any staff position within the office as necessary to achieve branch goals and coverage.
  • Ensure accountability of all team members to meet and exceed weekly metrics, monthly sales goals, documentation, and compliance in our software system.
  • Ensure recruiting team is proactively sourcing and recruiting new talent by using job boards, community outreach, job fairs to include college campuses, social media, relevant local papers and magazines, outdoor signage, communicating referral bonuses, and other sources available in their territory.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely answering of the phone and telephone etiquette.
  • Enforcing dress code and office cleanliness.
  • Responsible for ensuring the office is open from 7:30am-5:30pm
  • Offering ACA associates insurance enrollment and receiving the paperwork back within one week of notification of eligibility.
  • Managing and enforcing all payroll compliance procedures with associates and clients.
  • Managing the missing time report. All orders must be closed by close of business on Friday’s.
