Senior Property Manager – Affordable Housing | Hybrid (Akron, OH area)

Featherstone Sourcing is hiring on behalf of our client, a growing real estate investment firm.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Property Manager to help lead the operations of a residential portfolio consisting of single-family and multi-family homes across Northeast Ohio. This role focuses heavily on affordable housing and requires hands-on knowledge of Section 8 and other assistance programs.

This is a part-time, hybrid role based near Akron, OH. You must be located within a commutable distance for property visits and in-person responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties
• Conduct market assessments and rental analyses to guide pricing strategy
• Ensure compliance with Section 8 and other housing assistance programs
• Manage maintenance coordination, rent collection, and tenant communication
• Handle budgeting, financial reporting, and property performance tracking
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold safety and quality standards
• Required: Meticulous documentation and consistent communication with internal team leaders

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience in residential property management
• Strong understanding of affordable housing programs, including Section 8
• Proficiency with platforms like AppFolio, Yardi, or Buildium
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
