Come join our team! We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented scheduler to join our home health care company in our Tallahassee office. Part of the scheduling team, the scheduler works on the day-to-day staffing of client shifts, maintains accurate data and documentation, and provides administrative assistance as needed. Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedules and staffs client shifts by communicating with clients and caregivers to ensure coverage is provided when needed
  • Uses scheduling software daily to schedule client shifts
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date data and documentation
  • Answers phone calls with courtesy and professionalism
  • Utilizes superb written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with clients, caregivers, and office staff
  • Collaborates with other team members to ensure client satisfaction and smooth workflow
  • Provides administrative assistance when needed, such as filing and scanning
  • On-call some nights, weekends, and holidays

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2 – 4 years of administrative office experience (bachelor’s degree accepted in lieu of experience)
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations, and ability to learn scheduling software
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication skills and professionalism
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organization
  • Forward-thinker who isn’t afraid to bring new ideas to the table!

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, human resources, communications, or related field strongly preferred (degree accepted in lieu of experience)
  • Previous medical or health care experience preferred

Pay: $40,000 - $43,000 per year
