THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION

Westin Trading, Inc. is a national trading company based in Saint Louis Missouri. Focusing on business to business sales, we have become a leader in the wholesale grocery industry.

We supply retail grocery chains and large wholesalers.

Our primary business is buying and selling full truckloads of nationally branded grocery products.

We are looking for an experienced sales representative to work with our Account Managers. You will be communicating directly with our existing customers and our network of existing sources to help us grow an already thriving business. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity of transitioning into an Account Manager position which is a base salary with additional commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with our current sources in obtaining new offers and negotiating costs
  • Accurately enter and update product for sale in company system
  • Assist other Account Managers with creating Purchase Orders.
  • Assist other Account Managers with creating Sales Confirmations.
  • Assist other Account Managers in quoting product for sale to customers
  • Update customers on existing orders
  • Product research using company and industry databases

Skills:

  • Persuasive communication skills with sales experience via phone is critical
  • Ability to work with a multitude of vendors to determine the best deals and products. Evaluate offers based on price, quality, speed to market, current trends, and other factors
  • High level negotiating skills – must have experience, and success, negotiating costs and sales prices
  • Must possess accurate order entry experience
  • Must be able to work efficiently independently and within a team
  • The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to organize and prioritize within a fast-moving environment
