Job Description

Our client’s Syndication Team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Release Operations Program Manager to support release coordination across platforms, devices, and partner products. This role is critical in managing firmware release operations and ensuring seamless communication between internal release teams and external syndication partners.

Job Title: Release Operations Program Manager

Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite 4 days/week)

Employment Type: Contract (W2)

Pay Rate: $60–$65/hour

Duration: Through End of Year (EOY), with potential for long-term renewal or conversion

Experience Level: Mid-Senior (5+ years)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with multiple release management teams to support syndication of the company’s platforms and devices.
  • Create and manage partner-facing and internal release notes and calendars, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Lead daily release calendar planning and ticket reviews for firmware updates across devices (e.g., cable boxes, modems, gateways, connected living devices).
  • Facilitate B2B partner communications, including calls and documentation.
  • Ensure timely execution of daily deliverables and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Support release operations and syndication efforts, including understanding device functionality and firmware rollout processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across multiple teams and internal stakeholders to vet release details and maintain alignment across teams and across client/partner needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Release Management or Release Operations .
  • Strong understanding of firmware release processes and device lifecycle.
  • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow , Jira , Confluence , MS Excel , and PowerPoint .
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in B2B environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet is a bonus.
