As an RN in the Acute Rehab Unit, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care and serving as a key member of the interdisciplinary team. Working under the supervision of a Director, you will be instrumental in the development and execution of the nursing plan of care. Your expertise will ensure that all assigned procedures are performed within the scope of practice as set forth by the Iowa State Board of Nursing, contributing to optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide direct, hands-on nursing care to patients with a focus on rehabilitation and recovery.

• Develop, implement, and revise the individualized nursing plan of care for each patient.

• Assess patient needs and monitor progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.

• Perform all assigned procedures with professionalism and strict adherence to established protocols.

• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.

• Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.

  • A current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in Iowa or from a Compact State.

  • A National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association.

  • Recent RN experience.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of rehabilitation nursing experience.
