Day Shift: 7am-4:30pm

In this position, you’ll deliver precise therapeutic radiation treatments while providing the compassion, reassurance, and expertise that make every patient feel cared for and supported.

You’ll be part of a collaborative oncology team dedicated to clinical excellence, patient safety, and innovation — using state-of-the-art technology to deliver world-class care right here in northern Nevada.

Position Summary

As a Radiation Therapist , you’ll administer prescribed radiation doses to targeted treatment areas, perform localization procedures, and ensure each patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care. You’ll also play an important role in patient education, supporting families through the treatment journey, and mentoring new team members and students.

What You’ll Do

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy using advanced linear accelerators and simulators.
• Perform localization, verification, and basic dosimetry to ensure precise and safe treatment delivery.
• Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families throughout treatment.
• Maintain detailed records, charts, and treatment documentation using electronic health systems.
• Collaborate with physicians, physicists, and dosimetrists to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
• Support department education initiatives by training new staff and mentoring radiation therapy students.
• Demonstrate annual proficiency in patient safety, infection control, and clinical competencies.

What You Bring

Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.

Experience: No prior experience required — we’ll help you grow.

Licensure/Certification:

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (T) required or eligible.
• State of Nevada Radiation Control License required upon hire.
• BLS Certification (AHA) required.

Skills: Precision, empathy, technical aptitude, and strong communication skills.
