Job Description

We’re hiring a Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects for a well-established civil engineering firm with a strong reputation across the Texas Gulf Coast. This role blends technical oversight with client-facing leadership , and is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys mentoring junior engineers.

You’ll manage water, wastewater, and stormwater projects from design through construction, working closely with municipal clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from planning through delivery
• Oversee design teams and coordinate with subconsultants
• Manage schedules, budgets, and client communications
• Ensure compliance with permitting and regulatory standards (TCEQ, EPA, City of Houston)
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
• Interface directly with municipal utility districts (MUDs) and public entities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience managing municipal infrastructure projects
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with permitting and regulatory processes
• Texas P.E. license preferred , but not required
