Project Manager – Packaging Operations

Contract Duration: 6 months

Schedule: Hybrid (Onsite Monday–Thursday in Orlando, remote Fridays)

Pay Range: Up to $40/hr

Overview

We’re seeking a Project Manager with experience in packaging operations to oversee the end-to-end process of packaging development. This role involves managing timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple teams—including creative, sourcing, merchandising, and product design—to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment , with over 150 active projects at a time. Ideal candidates are organized multitaskers with a background in creative production, packaging, or agency project management .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage structural and creative packaging projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with product timelines and launch calendars.
• Lead category-specific packaging initiatives with a focus on timing, accuracy, and collaboration.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Creative Design, Structural Packaging, Sourcing, and Merchandising.
• Track and report project progress using project management tools; maintain dashboards and documentation for leadership visibility.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve packaging processes.
• Support a collaborative, high-performing team environment by sharing best practices and lessons learned.
• Escalate project issues as needed to ensure delivery standards and deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management or related experience in a creative, packaging, or product development environment .
• Strong understanding of both structural and creative packaging processes .
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience using project management tools such as Workfront or Smartsheet (Adobe Workfront experience a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office .
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Business Operations, Project Management , or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have

• Experience in retail or product development .
• Background in agency or creative production environments .
