Description

As a Projects Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various projects within our organization. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage computer networking projects from initial planning through execution and completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor and track project progress, identifying any potential risks or issues and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement, implementing process enhancements when necessary.
• Prepare and deliver project reports, including project scope, objectives, and deliverables, to management and clients.
• Ensure deliverables meet technical quality, cost & schedule objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation standards throughout the execution of a project including detailed work records, time records, and technical documentation records.
• Be an escalation point for the Service Delivery team and assist with complex support tickets with urgency and consideration.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management, peers, and employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred and 1+ year of related experience executing IT projects.
• Previous experience working on small, medium, and large-scale IT projects for customers having up to 3,000 users and multiple locations.
• Must have at least 2 technical certifications from the following - Microsoft MCSE/MCSA/MCSD, Modern Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate, Security Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Cisco CCIE/CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA cloud+/A+/Network+, AWS certified solutions architect, VMWare VCP, ITILv4, Certified Ethical Hacker, CISSP

• Excellent communication and collaboration, team engagement, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Experience working in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry.
• 3 or more years of experience and knowledge of technology solutions used in the MSP space including Microsoft Server and Desktop, Active Directory, SharePoint/OneDrive, Azure AD (Now Entra), Apple MacOS, Cisco Networking.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously.
