Job Description

TITLE: Policy Analyst
CLEARANCE: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
LOCATION: Mark Center - Alexandria, VA

Required Skills and Relevant Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an OIE related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of policy analysis, policy formulation processes, or strategy development.
  • Experience in providing technical support and advice
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using communication skills, both written and oral, to include preparation of written products for senior leaders.
  • Experience interacting at the most senior levels of the DoD staff and Interagency (Offices of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, Services, or Combatant/Component Commands) (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level).
Required Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in any relevant field of study.
 
Preferred Skills and Relevant Experience:
  • Preferred certificate, degree or higher-level education to be in business, operations  research, or other professional discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of combined OSD, Joint Staff, Service level, or 2–4-star level Command experience in OIE.
  • Experience with drafting, editing, or coordinating input for legislative or policy proposals.
