**To reiterate, you must have deep knowledge of vintage Pokémon trading cards to be eligible for this role. Basic knowledge of a few original sets will NOT be sufficient. You MUST be able to identify vintage products and have the ability to create engaging content with this knowledge. Pokémon card fluency and expertise specific to short form social media content is of paramount importance for this role.**

Company Description

E&A Collectibles is a leading online trading card store based in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in rare Pokémon and other TCG collectibles. Founded in 2020, E&A has established expertise in sourcing and authenticating collectibles for commercial and private customers.

We are a fast-growing ecommerce business managed by a team of two. We are looking to bring on a second marketing specialist with creative and social media expertise to drive further growth on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. The role will require a very hands-on and dedicated approach since we are a social media focused business looking to quickly scale and build our community. Our new hire will work very closely with our founder and CEO.

Role Description

The long-term contract role. The role involves creative strategy, ideation, shooting and editing social media content, managing social media marketing, communication, social media optimization (SMO), and other digital design tasks. While our Company is based in Brentwood, Los Angeles, CA, and the hire will need to meet with us regularly 2-4 times a week, remote work is acceptable and expected. We're looking for a marketing specialist that is best in their class and has a strong work ethic - we are more than willing to pay well for strong performance (see below Compensation section). The goal is to hire someone that will be with the company indefinitely.

Additional details:

• You will be a subject matter expert for all social platforms and social tools, driving strategy and new ideas.
• Consistently create and manage highly-engaging social media content (reels, static posts, stories, etc.). The role will require you to post content across platforms multiple times a day (7-10 reels and static posts a week alongside our existing editor).
• Stay up to date on the latest innovations and best practices in creative execution.
• Use analytics tools, glean insight from output and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing and social media. Consumer product experience is a plus.
• In depth understanding of how key social media platforms and their respective algorithms work.
• Takes a methodical and targeted approach to content creation and the various industry-leading strategies.
• Prepared to implement proven strategies with our business to quickly scale our social media page.
• Experience ideating, shooting and editing successful and engaging content on social media platforms.
• High aesthetic standards and creative judgment and understanding of how to story-tell on social media.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of videography, photography, lighting, etc. as it relates to short-form social media content.
• Deep knowledge base of vintage Pokémon trading cards and willingness to continue learning during the job. We will test all candidates prior to hiring and reject those who don’t meet this key requirement.
• Good sense of humor and ability to think creatively to produce entertaining content.
• Professional, presentable, strong communication, self-motivated and takes pride in his/her work.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field.
• Within driving distance from Brentwood, Los Angeles, California (25 miles or less ).

Compensation

• The expected pay for this role is 'market', paid based on volume of content created (per reel, static post, etc.). A high value-add hire will be rewarded with pay increases over time. An exceptional hire that goes above and beyond will be paid discretionary bonuses tied to our performance.
