Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Draws blood using proper technique.
• Complies with phlebotomy protocols and demonstrates proper collection techniques for patients with special requirements.
• Tasks include patient registration, test ordering, and phlebotomy and assisting in Central Processing.
• Greets and assists patient and customer population. Provides excellent customer service skills.
• Receives incoming requests for Laboratory services and directs appropriately, following Laboratory and HIPAA Guidelines.
• Notifies physicians, physician office staff, and appropriate hospital departments of Laboratory results.

Must-Have Qualifications :

• HS diploma
• Prior experience working as a phlebotomist
• Phlebotomy certification

Schedule / Shifts :

Outpatient Opening :

Monday - Friday with weekend coverage if needed: 7am - 3:30pm // 40hrs a week

Inpatient Openings :

M, W, F, Sat, Sun: 5:30am - 2pm // 40hrs a week

OR

M, Tues, Thur-Sat // Sun, Tues - Friday: 2pm - 10:30am, rotate every other weekend // 40 hours a week.
