Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Processor . The ideal candidate will manage the accurate and timely processing of multi-state payroll while adhering to strict reporting deadlines and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations. This role involves collaborating with team members, supporting employees and managers with payroll-related inquiries, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing:

• 
  Process multi-state weekly payroll accurately and in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• 
  Verify and review employee timecards prior to processing.
• 
  Handle payroll adjustments, including salary changes, bonus payments, commissions, and other payroll items.
  

Employee and Manager Support:

• 
  Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and managers via phone, email, or ticketing system, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  

Collaboration:

• 
  Partner with payroll team members and the HR department to ensure smooth and compliant payroll operations.
  

Process Improvement:

• 
  Support department goals by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• 
  Maintain and update payroll checklists and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications:

• 
  Experience processing multi-state payroll with a strong understanding of payroll compliance requirements.
• 
  Proficiency with payroll systems (experience with Points North or similar platforms a plus).
• 
  Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
