Job Description

Part-time schedule: M-F First Shift - 30 hours per week

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Strategic Packaging Development: Supports corporate strategy by ensuring brand packaging meets high standards of quality, creativity, and innovation, managing projects within strict timelines and budgets.
  • Innovation and Feasibility: Drives packaging innovation by researching and presenting new concepts, technologies, and delivery systems, and conducts feasibility studies to assess function, cost, risk, and timelines.
  • Comprehensive Project Management: Manages all phases of the development process, from defining specifications and selecting suppliers to ensuring designs meet engineering, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicates and collaborates with internal teams such as marketing, R&D, and design, and manages relationships with global suppliers to ensure efficient project execution and mitigate risks.

Here’s what you’ll have:

  • Requires a BS in Packaging Science or Engineering, CIPT or IOPP certification, and 1-3 years of experience in cosmetic package development within the beauty industry.
  • Must be proficient in computer systems and possess a strong technical understanding of 2D and 3D geometric analysis, various packaging materials, manufacturing processes, decorating techniques, and performance test methods.
