Our client is looking for an Operations Manager with the drive and initiative to put strong operational processes in place and help shape the future of their growing water and wastewater services team.

In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, lead field staff, and implement systems that ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional service delivery. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity where you’ll play a critical role in optimizing operations and making a lasting impact on communities across Southern California.

What You’ll Do:

• Direct and support field staff, serving as the primary point of contact for daily operations.
• Develop, document, and implement new processes to improve efficiency, compliance, and service quality.
• Prepare and maintain accurate operational reports for regulatory and internal use.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers, regulators, vendors, and internal teams.
• Respond to service requests and resolve operational challenges with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ years of experience in operations, ideally in water, wastewater, or utilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• A relationship builder who can work well with diverse groups of people.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved at all levels.
• High school diploma or higher; additional training or certifications a plus.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across Southern California (~1 day per week).
