Job Description

Position: Office Administrative Assistant

Location: Lexington, KY

Contract: 3+ months

Pay: $25-33/hr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Office Administrative Assistant to oversee the daily operations of our Lexington, Kentucky office. This individual will be instrumental in maintaining a welcoming and efficient work environment, supporting both internal teams and external partners.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency
  • Manage pantry and office supply inventory, including catering and vendor coordination
  • Liaise with property management and utility vendors to maintain facility operations
  • Handle building access and security systems, ensuring proper setup for all employees
  • Coordinate and execute team events, both onsite and offsite
  • Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports
  • Manage service vendors, negotiate contracts, and track service levels
  • Support a positive candidate and new hire experience during interviews and onboarding
  • Partner with IT to ensure smooth technical setup for new team members
  • Monitor and respond to internal purchase requests, facilitating timely order fulfillment

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 4–5+ years of experience in office operations, facilities management, or administrative support
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (especially Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides)
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, proactive, and adaptable approach to solving challenges
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience
