REPORTS TO: Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy

EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: In-person, Part-time (20 hrs/wk). Non-exempt. 

ABOUT EAGLE RANCH: Eagle Ranch is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization located in Flowery Branch, Georgia, that takes a whole family approach to restoring and renewing relationships for children and families. Eagle Ranch was founded in 1985 and has served thousands of children and their families. 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Eagle Ranch is seeking an organized, content-minded, and highly motivated Part-Time Marketing Creative Assistant to provide essential marketing administrative and social media support to our dynamic Marketing team. This role is crucial for consistently delivering our ministry's story to digital platforms and ensuring our marketing efforts are well-supported from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will excel at carrying tasks across the finish line, possess strong creative writing and storytelling abilities, and have a foundational understanding of design for supporting in-house projects. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Brand Strategy and will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator, Creative Brand Manager, and collaboratively with the Outreach Coordinator.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Marketing Administrative & Design Support: 50%

• Collaborate with the Creative Brand Manager to ensure all marketing materials, both digital and print, adhere to Eagle Ranch’s brand guidelines. 

• Provide design support for various in-house marketing projects, including event-related materials, utilizing Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. 

• Assist with email communications, including drafting, scheduling, design, and formatting. 

• Provide content writing support for various marketing initiatives, including website updates and campaign materials. 

• Offer creative ideas and administrative support for broader marketing and event initiatives. 

• See all assigned projects through from conception to completion with meticulous attention to detail. 

• Attend and assist Eagle Ranch events outside of traditional work hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, as needed.

Social Media: 50%

• Lead content gathering efforts, identifying compelling stories and visuals that showcase the impact of Eagle Ranch's mission (video capture, photo capture, etc.).

• Manage the scheduling and consistent posting of content across all Eagle Ranch social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). 

• Actively manage and engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages to foster connection. 

• Support the overall implementation of Eagle Ranch's social media strategy, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Affirms and exhibits a life in line with Eagle Ranch’s Statement of Faith.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or experience in a related field preferred.

• Proven experience in social media management and design, creating visual content for marketing purposes (portfolio required).

• Demonstrated aptitude for design tasks with experience using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Illustrator preferred).

• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills are essential.

• Experience with Asana (our project management tool) and Buffer (our social media management tool) preferred.

• Experience with and knowledge of content creation (photography, videography), podcast management, and the StoryBrand Framework preferred. 

• Flexible schedule that can accommodate required attendance at occasional evening or weekend hours to support events.
