Property Size: 300+ Units

Position Overview:

We’re seeking an energetic and customer-focused Leasing Specialist to join our team at a 300+ unit apartment community in Wellington, FL. This role is essential to maintaining high occupancy, delivering an exceptional resident experience, and supporting the property’s overall performance. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and proactive—comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with property management and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market and advertise current and upcoming vacancies across multiple platforms to attract qualified tenants.
  • Greet and engage walk-in prospects, conduct property tours, and guide applicants through the leasing process.
  • Perform apartment inspections to ensure units are move-in ready and all features are functioning properly.
  • Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements, renewals, and amendments with accuracy and compliance.
  • Collect rent payments, monitor tenant accounts, and assist with delinquency follow-up as needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and vendor work to ensure timely resolution and resident satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative campaigns that drive traffic and improve occupancy.
  • Enforce community policies and document any property rule violations.
  • Conduct detailed move-out inspections, document damages, and process deposit returns in accordance with policy.
  • Maintain organized records, manage lead follow-ups, and track leasing performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience as a Leasing Specialist, Leasing Consultant, or similar role in multifamily property management.
  • Proven success in leasing, marketing, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in property management software and marketing platforms.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented with a positive, “people-first” approach.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and at least one weekend day per week
