Manager, Nursing – Labor & Delivery
Location: Seattle, WA
Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift
Pay Range: $78.12 – $123.32 per hour
Join one of the region’s most respected maternity programs, supporting more than 600 births per month in a high-acuity, high-volume setting. As the Manager of Nursing for Labor & Delivery, you’ll lead a large, multidisciplinary team within a nationally ranked maternity center, ensuring exceptional patient care, caregiver engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations across 31 labor beds, 4 OB ORs, and a 9-bed OB ED, overseeing 140+ caregivers
Collaborate with senior leadership to drive quality outcomes, financial performance, and a top-tier patient experience
Partner with OB, MFM, midwifery, and family medicine teams to support high-risk and complex births
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and inclusion in a 24/7 union environment with strong team support
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s in Nursing or related field preferred
Active Washington RN license (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in acute care, including prior Nurse Manager roles
BLS certification required; experience in unionized healthcare environments strongly preferred
