Jewelry Designer

What you’ll do at Spur

Digitally rendering jewelry designs.
Design using non-calibrated recycled, heirloom, and post-consumer materials.
Interpreting design prompts using photographs of gemstones to be included in each design
Work with our design and production team conceptualizing jewelry designs aligned with our brand aesthetic .
Problem solve designs with unique materials using knowledge of jewelry fabrication and techniques.
Make artful design decisions within various project scopes.
Regularly execute design edits.
Write thoughtful descriptions of your designs.
Attend design team meetings.

Requirements

Professional experience in designing fine jewelry.
Coursework or relevant professional experience in jewelry rendering.
Command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop.
Excellent command of jewelry design and knowledge of common fine jewelry fabrication techniques.

Experience with CAD (RHINO)
Bench experience.
Command of Airtable.
Experience executing custom projects and knowledge of common pitfalls in custom work.
