REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• BS in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or related discipline
o Also, open to an AS in leu of experience.
• Valid driver’s license (clean record)
• Able to pass drug and background check
• Experience preparing proposals. o ideally someone who can meet with clients
• 3-5 years of inspection experience
Day to Day: Insight Global is looking for a Sr staff industrial hygienist for a nationwide engineering consulting firm out of the Savannah, GA. This individual will investigate buildings and sites to identify physical and/or environmental risks. Perform and/or manage asbestos surveys, asbestos management planning, operations and maintenance plans, asbestos removal budget estimates, abatement oversight and air monitoring services, health and safety training and planning, qualitative exposure assessments, employee exposure assessments, noise and hearing conservation, ventilation and lighting surveys, mold assessments and remediation monitoring, indoor environmental quality investigations. They will also develop sampling strategies/analysis and analyze sampling results to provide high quality written and verbal consultation to a wide range of clients to meet specific project needs. This individual is expected to prepare reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations and coordinate on-time delivery with internal quality control reviewers. Other notes: (80% field – some over night travel (1-2x a month), industrial (power generation is 50% of project sites) diligence work – renovations, demolitions new construction)
Compensation:
$80,000 to $95,000 per year annual salary.
