Job Description

In this hands-on role, the HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) Coordinator will partner closely with the Regional Safety Manager to support safety and environmental compliance initiatives across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting safety and environmental programs to identify, reduce, and manage workplace hazards
• Assisting the Regional Senior Vice President in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Conducting routine safety inspections and reporting findings to the Safety Manager
• Coordinating corrective actions and securing necessary resources to resolve safety issues
• Following up on inspection results to ensure timely closure of non-compliant or unsafe conditions
• Delivering employee training on various safety and environmental topics as needed
• Contributing to the development, implementation, and enforcement of company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or a related field
• 3–5 years of practical safety experience (civil construction industry experience preferred)
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual Spanish a plus
• Willingness to travel regionally as required
