Our client specializes in designing and producing trend-right apparel for Mens, Womens, Boys and Girls. Their product lines encompass branded, character-licensed, proprietary, and private label apparel.

Apparel Production Artist Overview:

Our client is looking for a talented Apparel Production Artist to join their dynamic growing design team. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for character and branded design, this role is for you. The ideal candidate will be a creative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well collaboratively, and can independently manage multiple projects. Expertise in scaling prints, patterns, and graphics, as well as handling production packages for overseas factories, is essential.

Apparel Production Artist Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver factory-ready production art packs for a smooth handoff to manufacturing.
• Manage production timelines to ensure artwork meets deadlines while upholding the highest quality standards.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate completion within scope.
• Maintain accuracy and autonomy in a fast-paced environment, staying focused under tight deadlines.
• Design packaging, hangtags, labels, and presentations for licensed character apparel

Apparel Production Artist Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field with 2+ years of experience in apparel design or product art.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and other design software; capable of creating production-ready artwork and technical drawings.
• A creative portfolio demonstrating design skills across various apparel categories, including activewear, casual wear, and accessories.
• Strong understanding of current fashion trends, color theory, and fabric selection; ability to translate trends into compelling designs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Development, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to align designs with brand standards and market needs.
• Meticulous attention to detail in design execution, ensuring accuracy and brand alignment.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with garment construction, textile printing techniques, and production processes; ability to create tech packs and communicate with manufacturers.
• Effective problem-solving skills for addressing design and production challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and effective idea presentation.
