What you bring to the team:

• The Finance & Operations Analyst will be an integral member of the finance team, reporting directly to the VP of Finance and VP of Operations.
• This team member will be responsible for, among other things, ensuring monthly financial statements are prepared in a timely and accurate manner and maintaining book vs. physical inventory integrity.
• This role is ideal for someone looking to be challenged and exposed to all facets of strategic finance within a growing consumer product company.
• The ideal candidate would have an overall interest in learning about consumer and branded product companies and a genuine interest in supporting other areas of the business as needed. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to senior leaders of current finance and operations team.
• Support and oversee month-end-close procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Ensure physical and book inventory are aligned and accurate.
• Support treasury management functions, including AR and AP management.
• Support annual third-party audit requirements.
• Oversee and manage employee expense tracking.
• Manage the inventory management system.
• Manage state-level sales tax tracking and compliance in Avalara.
• Manage key vendor/payables relationships.
• Provide ad-hoc analytics via Shopify, Tableau, etc.
• Support recurring budgeting/forecasting exercise alongside finance team.
• Support other areas of the business as needed, including HR, IT and systems support. 

About You:

• Undergrad and Masters in Accounting preferred.
• CPA Strongly Preferred.
• 1–2 years of audit-related experience at “Big 4” (or equivalent accounting firm).
• Dynamic skill set and genuine hunger to “flex” into other areas of the business.
• Experience in e-commerce or omni-channel brands a bonus.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Austin, Texas. HQ is in Round Rock, TX (25 minutes north of Austin).
