Overview
As the Facility Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our newly constructed facility operate at peak performance. You will oversee maintenance operations, manage a team of skilled technicians, and implement best practices to maintain our facilities in compliance with industry standards. Your leadership will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for our employees and clients alike. Required skills
- Proven experience in facility maintenance management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety regulations, and compliance standards
- Prior experience in a controlled temperature environment; hands on experience with environmental controls
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed
Desired skills
- Experience in the cannabis industry or a similar regulated environment
- Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance (HVAC certifications a plus)
- Project management experience, particularly in facility upgrades or renovations
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy-efficient systems
- Certification in facility management or related fields (e.g., Certified Facility Manager, HVAC certification)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
