Position Summary :

Octapharma USA is searching for a Director, Scientific and Medical Affairs - Critical to join our team. The Director, Scientific & Medical Affairs- Critical Care will have accountability and responsibility in the management of field-based medical activity across the Octapharma USA Critical Care Portfolio. The position will be responsible for establishing and fostering professional relationships with key opinion leaders and ensuring access to current medical and scientific information on company products and critical care therapeutic areas of interest. The position will also provide medical/scientific expertise and support to global and commercial functions within the organization via effective scientific exchange.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work onsite in Paramus, NJ HQ daily
  • MD degree required
  • Specialty within critical required
  • Strong understanding of industry compliance guidelines
  • 5+ years of related industry or clinical experience in area of focus
  • Understanding of drug surveillance, product promotion, and the legal aspects of product information

Octapharma USA Compensation and Benefit Summary :

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $280,000.00 to $350,000.00 ; however, unexpected, and necessary adjustments or increases may result from Company annual salary increases, if applicable, and or fluctuations in the job market necessitating adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits, including parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
