Job Description

Description:s and test objectives;
  • Document and communicate simulation software anomalies/errors;
  • Participate in CONOPs, Radar Operator Procedure Development, and Lessons Learned reviews and documentation;
  • Generate Quick-Look reports, perform data reductions, and communicate post-test product readiness to analysts and mission leads;
  • Operate and sustain the radar representations in the formal BMDS ground test laboratories;
  • Interface with the Test Execution Controller (TEC) or Mission Manager during test events;
  • Conduct pre-test and post-test meetings to communicate status and review test scenario results and/ or issues;
  • Coordinate with customer regarding asset or team availability to participate in test;
  • Present status reports to the Mission Manager and/or Mission Lead.

Skills and Competencies

  • Typically has a vocational school certification or an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in computer network installation and repair.;
  • 3+ years of test experience required, preferably with DoD systems;
  • Knowledge of radar principles including detection, tracking, discrimination and resource management is highly desired;
  • Knowledge of the BMDS supporting sensors and weapon systems is preferred;
  • Experience with Windows and Linux Operating Systems is required;
  • Experience with MATLAB and/or other scripting languages is preferred;
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to organize and coordinate personnel and event critical workflow and deliver on time work products.

Clearance

  • Candidate must have an active SECRET security clearance;
  • Must be a US Citizen

Travel

  • Position may require travel for extended periods in support of distributed ground test and/or flight test deployments.
