Fractional Chief Legal Officer (20–25 hrs/week)
Location: Ideally based in Miami, but open to candidates in New York
Must-Have Experience:
• Robust legal background with relevant ad tech experience
• Specific knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
• Search monetization
• Domain parking or content/search arbitrage
• Feed integrations (Google, Yahoo, Bing)

What They're Looking For
This isn’t a traditional legal role. The CEO already works with several external attorneys. What they need now is a legal leader with deep industry expertise—someone who can embed within the team and move quickly with the business.
General ad tech expertise is required, but candidates with niche experience will stand out.
Team Integration is Key:
This is not a check-in-and-out position. The ideal candidate will:
• Be active on Slack and part of the day-to-day workflow
• Provide in-the-moment legal insights—not just post-hoc analysis
• Operate as a true internal partner, not just outside counsel
Additional Responsibilities:
• Continue collaboration with the company’s long-standing external legal partner on specialized matters
• Build and refine internal legal processes
• Oversee legal risk and compliance across business operations
• Advise on data privacy, corporate governance, and regulatory issues
• Monitor industry-specific legal developments
• Deliver legal training and documentation internally
• Align closely with leadership on strategy and execution
