Overview

Do you have a passion for Data and Processing and Carrier Relationship Building? Gallagher is seeking a Carrier Relation Analyst in Rolling Meadows to join a top-tier team. This role offers a chance to apply your accounts receivable and carrier relations expertise and contribute significantly to our success!

The Carrier Relations Analyst is responsible for leading the carrier relations team in managing all aspects of Direct Bill accounting-related communications and interactions. This role involves overseeing the completion of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) carrier conversions into the National Accounting Center (NAC) and ensuring that all Direct Bill commissions are accurately received and posted to the appropriate bank accounts.

How you'll make an impact

Key Responsibilities:
o Accounting Relationship Management:
o Act as the primary accounting relationship lead with carriers, fostering strong
partnerships.
o Build and maintain robust relationships with key carrier partners.
o M&A Carrier Conversion:
o Oversee the end-to-end process of acquisition conversions to the NAC.
o Collaborate with the offshore team to prepare and present weekly project status
reports to the M&A conversion team.
o Ensure timely and efficient completion of conversions with the offshore team.
o Carrier Relations Development:
o Organize and conduct semi-annual meetings with key carriers to enhance
partnerships.
o Establish and manage escalation paths with carriers to resolve issues promptly.
o Develop and maintain a comprehensive carrier accounting contacts library across
all divisions.
o Collaboration and Communication:
o Work closely with all resources, including the M&A Team, NAC, and branches, to
facilitate smooth operations.
o Address and resolve branch questions and escalations effectively.
o Collaborate with the Manager to reduce turnaround time (TAT) for new
acquisition conversions.
o Documentation and Oversight:
o Oversee documentation processes and handle escalations related to carrier
conversions, including facilitating the completion of special forms.
o Carrier Portal Access:
o Administer and manage escalations for Carrier Portal Access for Commission
statements.
o Carrier Consolidation:
o Identify and pursue opportunities for carrier consolidation to optimize
operations.
o Legacy Bank Account Management:
o Work with the M&A team to close legacy bank accounts for recent acquisition
partners that have converted to the NAC.
o Communication Leadership:
o Lead accounting carrier communication for NAC through phone, email, and other
channels.
o Accounts Receivable Support:
o Assist in other accounts receivable-related support functions as needed.
o Special Projects:
o Participate in and lead special projects related to Direct Bill Commissions.


About You

Requirements

  • High School diploma.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model.
