Marketing Strategist / Advisor for B2B Software Company (2 3 hrs per week)

Consultancy role providing strategic marketing oversight for a UK B2B software company.

We're seeking an experienced Marketing Strategist / Consultant to provide targeted, high-value guidance to a small in-house marketing team.

You will work directly with senior management at BusinessPort Ltd, creators of the Agility System an integrated management system used by major organisations in the defence, energy, and engineering sectors.

This is an advisory consultancy role - ideal for a senior marketer who enjoys shaping marketing direction and performance without being involved in day-to-day execution.

The role is highly flexible and requires approximately 2 3 hours per week.

• Guide the overall marketing strategy to align with business objectives.
• Review performance of LinkedIn, email, and Google Ads campaigns and recommend improvements.
• Help structure campaign planning launch, follow-up, and content repurposing.
• Provide strategic insight into brand positioning, tone, and messaging.
• Highlight performance trends and suggest practical adjustments to optimise results.

• Proven experience in B2B marketing strategy or consulting (software or professional services preferred).
• Strong grasp of lead generation, campaign performance, and analytics.
• Ability to provide actionable, high-level guidance in a limited time.
• UK familiarity preferred, but open to global freelancers.

• Commitment: 2 3 hours per week (flexible).
• Location: Remote.
• Duration: Ongoing consultancy support.
