We are seeking a reliable and energetic afternoon babysitter to care for our 4.5-year-old daughter in Jersey City, NJ. The position is from September 16 to December 15, 2025, with hours from Monday to Thursday, 2:00-7:00 pm, and Friday, 2:00-6:00 pm, with occasional evening coverage if available. The babysitter will assist in early learning activities, help with school pick-up in the West Village, and supervise age-appropriate activities and playdates. The role includes escorting our daughter to after-school activities, requiring comfort with public transit and walking in the city. Occasional support may be needed for our 2.5-year-old and 3-month-old, alongside a parent or nanny. Qualifications include prior experience with preschool-aged children, strong communication skills, comfort navigating NYC, and CPR/first aid training preferred. References are required.
