Job Description

Job Summary:

Athens Services is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the leadership team. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. This role requires the ability to multitask, organize complex information, and meet changing deadlines. The qualified candidate should have a minimum of five years of experience supporting leadership, possess strong initiative, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for leadership.
  • Manage special projects and ensure their successful completion within set deadlines.
  • Screen and follow up on calls, emails, and other inquiries on behalf of the leadership.
  • Exhibit the ability to handle a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.
  • React with appropriate levels of urgency to situations and events that require a quick response or turnaround.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Represent Athens Services in a professional manner at all times when interacting with employees, vendors, suppliers, etc.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Executives and Management
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Human Resources or other related field
  • Bilingual – English/Spanish

  • Exposure to grease, oil, chemicals, & wet slippery surfaces, hot/cold conditions occasionally.

Salary: $24.00 - $26.25 hourly

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
